David Longdon was a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, arranger and producer. He led prog rock band Big Big Train from 2009 until his untimely death in 2021. Work on his solo album, Door One, was close to being finished at the time of his death. The album was steered to completion under the control of David's close friends Patrick Phillips and Gary Bromham and his partner Sarah Ewing.
